Howden acquires CHB Insurance Brokers
Howden, the international insurance broker, has acquired CHB Insurance Brokers (CHB), one of the leading property and casualty brokers in the Baltic region.
The acquisition marks Howden’s expansion into the Baltic market as it continues to develop its international platform and expand its retail operations across Europe to support local and multinational customers.
Led by Howden Finland, this acquisition reflects Howden’s continued strategy of building operations to serve customers across Europe.
By building businesses and enabling local teams to partner with strategic and culturally aligned businesses that integrate specialties across the distribution network, Howden will offer customers greater choice in the Baltic region.
Andry Saarm, Chairman of the Board, and Priit Helm, CEO, will continue to lead the company. Former member of the board of directors Evelin Pärna remains the head of the southern region of the CHB, based in Pärnu.
