Liberty Company Insurance Brokers Launches New Managing General Agent

Liberty Company Insurance Brokers (LCIB) has launched a new managing general agent based on its underwriting expertise – Aura Risk Management.

Aura Risk Management is an MGA that administers programs and aggregates wholesale placements of commercial and personal lines through a nationwide network of carriers, producers and partner agencies. It is licensed to operate in more than 30 states, with plans to expand into more regions.

To lead this MGA arm, LCIB enlisted Tony McIntosh, AU, CYB, CRIS to serve as president of Aura Risk Management. McIntosh has over 10 years of experience underwriting and administering programs, and previously worked for MGA KRM Risk Management, based in California. He has also worked for companies such as First Foundation Bank and Barney & Barney, and previously ran his own insurance brokerage firm.

“Our MGA is built by brokers, for brokers. We exist entirely to help our partners win. We radiate our shared core values with the freedom of integrity, excellence, benevolence, kindness, fairness, teamwork, good feelings and fun! ”both in our current business philosophy and in our relationships,” commented McIntosh.

McIntosh added that thanks to a significant investment in underwriting and business development, Aura Risk Management offers products “relevant and meeting the current needs of many policyholders.”
